Below are the prices for scanning your photographs with The Scan Studio.
We offer a discount of 10% on orders of over 100 and a discount of 20% on over 1000 of the same format. If you have a very large collection of over 5000 pieces please give us a call on 01277 593 800 or send us a message here to discuss pricing.
If you have medium or large-format film, please contact us here with your specifications and we will get back to you with costings.
*There is a minimum scanning charge of £20.
**Negative 35mm strips are scanned as 4 separate images, unfortunately, we can not scan individual frames.
All your scanned files are sent to you with a digital download link to your supplied email address free of charge. We highly recommend that you also purchase either a USB flash drive or DVD so that you have additional copies of your files that are not on your computer.
All our scanned images are saved as JPEG files with maximum quality as standard. If you require an uncompressed TIFF format there is an additional charge of 20p per image, if you require any other format please call us on 01277 593 800 or send us a message here.
As standard, all 35mm slides and negatives are scanned at 750%, and photographs at 200%, these have found these sizes to be the best balance between size and quality. We can scan at larger sizes if required, please call us on 01277 593 800 or send us a message here, letting us know what application you will be using the scanned images for and then we can advise on the necessary size.
We normally work out a return of your digital download link within 10-14 days. If you need your images back in a hurry please call us on 01277 593 800 or send us a message here and let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your timescale.
There will be an additional surcharge for time-sensitive work.
We now have a video department back and digitising your home movies! We can convert most camcorder video taps, VHS and cine film.
